Airtel Set to Roll out 4G LTE Broadband to 3 States in Nigeria

The Airtel NG telco company had been the last  network to roll out their 4G LTE service in Nigeria, despite the fact that they had been the first telco to complete a successful 4G trial in Lagos. Since the announcement, we've all been patiently waiting for the service to be rolled out in some earthic areas of Nigeria. The amazing news now is that Airtel Nigeria has it 4G LTE network activated in three(3) states, in this month of December 2017. Better late than never, we guess.

As I said ealier, This December, Airtel Nigeria has it 4G LTE network activated in three(3) states which are listed:
  1.  Lagos
  2. Abuja &
  3. Port-Harcourt
The three above mention states are normally considered as the A-1 states in Nigeria, and hopefully, other states will be included very soon as time goes on. This was made known by an insider who craved anonymity. As reported last month, Airtel had signed a (3) three-year contract with  Ericsson company to transform its core network in Nigeria thereby enabling faster mobile broadband. Now no one knows if the partnership with Ericsson has been the main source of bringing about the Airtel 4G LTE.

We just hope evrything goes smoothly & successfully, remember Visafone's acquisition is one factor that boosted MTN 4G LTE service, in the same vein, Airtel's partnership with Ericson for core network upgrade will also help improve the latter's 4G service.
